Trap Shooting Instruction 2010
Trap shooting has been a source of entertainment for centuries, and is relatively easy to learn. The Oregon Sportsman's Club will be offering it Trap Shooting Instruction beginning in May. These opportunities are open to anyone 12 or older with proof of Hunter Safety Certification. Anyone under the age of 18 is required to have a parent or guardian present at all times. These classes will focus on safe shotgun handling and shotgun-shooting fundamentals.

Students need to bring their own eye and ear protection! Participants are also encouraged to bring their own shotguns; however, guns can be provided by the club, if necessary. Please insure any gun used is in safe working condition. No shot size larger than 7 1/2 will be permitted. Twelve (12) and twenty (20) gauge shot shells will be available for purchase or individuals may bring their own. The cost for the class is only $5. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

For the individuals that have never shot before, we strongly encourage registering for one on one session time. We will have group shooting from 11:00 to 12:30 for people that have a some experience handling a shotgun.
Sessions may be cancelled for inclimate weather.
