August 29, 2015 – The Oregon Sportsman’s Club Hosted a another successful fall banquet and fundraiser. The meal included delicious roasted pork and baked chicken with all the sides and delicious desserts. J.L. Richards from Oregon, WI catered the event and served over 350 meals. Eugster farms donated several coolers of cooked sweet corn. One lucky meal ticket was drawn for a new 40″ television.
The Pig Roast had several fun raffles this year including a bean bag toss for a Green Egg grill, a dice game for rifles and Vortex optics, three handgun raffle boards, 100 donated Vortex hat raffle with a Browning .270 rifle grand prize, an archery table with a crossbow and 3D target, a kayak, Hunter Safety rifle board raffle, men’s power tools table, women’s wine and other goodies table, a box of cigars board raffle, numerous member donated can raffles, and much more.
There was a memorial dedication to our good friend Stu Cameron who recently passed away. It was a great tribute to a great man. The club rented a bouncy house which was a big hit with the children and young families in attendance.
The big excitement of the evening was the drawing of the GRAND RAFFLE PRIZES. A big thank you to everyone who bought and or sold raffle tickets. Funds from this raffle will be used for future club improvements. Below is a list of this years lucky winners.
